This will be an all day meeting, 10am-5pm when we will have the BPNS AGM. The main venue is the Oak Suite of W12 Conferences, which is within the grounds of the Hammersmith Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT). The programme will include the usual miscellaneous clinical case presentations. We would encourage delegates to submit abstracts for presentation via the BPNS website -
There will be guest lectures on CANVAS Syndrome by Dr Andrea Cortese (UCLH) & Prof Adolfo Bronstein (ICHT) and HIV in 2019 by Prof Alan Winston (ICHT). We will also have presentations by the recipients of the 2019 Richard Hughes Travel Bursary following their presentations at the Peripheral Nerve Society meeting in Genoa in June.
We encourage registration in advance by clicking Book Tickets at the bottom. Members should log in first to benefit from reduced registration fees. 'Early bird' registration will close on Wednesday 18th September after which the registration fee will rise from £35 to £45. Registration on the day is possible but will be at the £45 rate. If you decide not to register in advance, please email secretariat@bpns.org.uk in advance so we know numbers for catering. We are grateful to our sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry for supporting this meeting. The meeting is recognised by the RCP for 6 CPD points
The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday 10th September. WRITTEN CONSENT is required from any living patient before their case history may be presented at any BPNS meeting or added to our website. Please ask your patient to sign the consent form and file this in the hospital notes or your own records. The BPNS does not require a copy of the consent form, merely your honest statement that one has been signed. If written consent has not yet been obtained, an abstract may still be submitted, but the submitter must confirm to the Case Library Editor at least one week before the meeting that written consent has been obtained, otherwise it cannot be presented (but may be postponed to a future meeting). With apologies, if there are more abstracts than space available, we will not be able to accept them all – so submit yours as soon as possible!
