Registration and abstract submission is now open.
This will be a traditional BPNS all day meeting, the first session starting at 10.00 (registration begins 0915 AM) and finishing around 17.30. The local organiser is Dr James Stevens.
The programme will include the usual miscellaneous clinical case presentations.
There will be guest lectures on pain and microneurography and on Lyme disease.
We encourage registration in advance by clicking Book Tickets at the bottom. Members should log in first to benefit from a reduced registration fee. Advance registration will close on Sunday 3rd March. Registration on the day is possible but will incur a £10 surcharge. If you decide not to register in advance, please at least email secretariat@bpns.org.uk in advance to advise of your intention to attend so we know numbers for catering. We cannot guarantee lunch to those who have not registered in advance. We are grateful to our sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry for supporting this meeting.
The deadline for abstract submission is 5 March. Click the link below 'submit an abstract'. WRITTEN CONSENT is required from any living patient before their case history may be presented at any BPNS meeting or added to our website (this does not apply to deceased patients). Please ask your patient to sign the consent form, then file this in the hospital notes or your own records. The BPNS does not require a copy of the consent form, merely your honest statement that one has been signed. If written consent has not yet been obtained, an abstract may still be submitted, but the submitter must confirm to the meeting organiser or Case Library Editor at least one week before the meeting that written consent has been obtained, otherwise it cannot be presented (but may be postponed to a future meeting).
The Biennial BPNS Teaching Course on Peripheral Neuropathy aimed at registrars is the day before (separate registration required through BPNS website).
There will be a sponsored symposium organised by CSL Behring on Thursday 14th March 19.00-20.30, "Advancing the Treatment of CIDP: Introducing Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin into Clinical Practice", with hot buffet provided.
