Attached is the draft programme for the joint British / Italian PNS on the 22nd and 23rd of November. We have had an unprecedented number of abstracts both from the UK and Italy which is fantastic and hopefully it will be an exciting meeting. We have tried to accommodate all abstracts and hence have had to change length of presentations. Timings are very tight and keeping to these times will be essential.

As you will see the traditional BPNS case report session is on the Friday am. We already have a number of cases submitted but as there are only 3 slots left I am emailing everyone today. We will take the first three cases on a first come first served basis to be fair.

As this is a one off different type of meeting, I would also be very grateful if everyone could register in advance online

as we need to have numbers as accurate as possible for catering and for the Thursday night gala dinner. Of course anyone can register on either or  both days as well but it would help us greatly to know numbers in advance and it is essential
we know if you are attending the dinner on Thursday night.

New UK Charity for Peripheral Neuropathy

The BPNS wish to facilitate setup of a new charity for peripheral neuropathy in the UK.  There is no charity or association in the UK which supports people with all the many causes of peripheral neuropathy.  Only a few specific causes of neuropathy have a UK charity, such as CMT-UK, GAIN and Diabetes UK.  There is no UK charity to support idiopathic neuropathy, painful small fibre neuropathy (except general pain charities), brachial neuritis, carpal tunnel and entrapment neuropathies, chemotherapy neuropathy (except cancer charities), etc. Several people have come forward to assist with this and work is progressing to get the new charity up and running.
